Operating System

SERVER:  Win 2003 or Win 2008 (Vision is 64-bit ready so it will run on 32-bit or 64-bit operating systems).

PC workstation requirements are Windows Vista, XP, or Windows 7. 

Vision will not run on Windows ME or Windows 98. 

All PC workstation operating systems are required to have the latest up to date service packs and updates from Microsoft. 

Vision can technically operate on Windows 2000 however Windows 2000 is unsupported by Pluss or by Microsoft.

Network Connectivity

Server and PC workstation connections to switch/router are recommended to be ‘hard-wired’ using CAT 5 or better (shielded if using PC in shop where welders, etc are used).  While wireless (WIFI) is a good idea, WIFI connections are not infallible and can easily cause disconnects leading to data corruption.  These are issues you do not want to have so WIFI is NOT recommended.

Additional modules may require additional resources

Printers

PTM-Vision will print to nearly any Laserjet, Inkjet, or Deskjet printer.

Vision will also print out to Dot Matrix however, the graphical interface may not be to your liking (not suggested).
